Rebecca has a Master of Arts degree and has been practicing her art career focusing on still life paintings in oil for over 20 years. She has taught children, teens and adults throughout these years giving instruction in drawing from life, oil painting, watercolor and art appreciation in her home, at 171 Cedar Arts Center, Family Enrichment Center and with the Elmira Regional Art Society.. Her greatest joy is seeing students improve their skills in art technique and watching kids develop a life-long love for art appreciation and art creation. |

Are you an artist who needs guidance in how to turn your art practice into an art business? Or do you have an art business but need help identifying the next steps toward elevating your creative career? This Art Business Workshop is designed for artists like you! Learn three elements needed to create a sustainable art career, plan the months ahead based on your new goals and get your art business questions answered all while connecting with a supportive community of fellow creatives.
In this art business workshop you will:
Whether you are just beginning or established in your art business journey, this workshop will propel you forward toward art career establishment and growth. You will leave feeling inspired and encouraged with a doable plan in place to bring your art business to the place you have envisioned.
For this workshop, please bring:
• Note taking supplies: Rebecca will have handouts but you may want to have a place to jotting notes down. (Don’t forget your favorite pen!)
• A list of dates or a calendar with your known events at least through to the end of the year. Include events that will take time away from your art business and art commitments such as exhibits that you will need to work toward. We will use this to help you make a future plan with deadlines for your new goals.
Rebecca Finch is a still life and cloudscape artist living in Upstate New York. She began studying marketing and business principles in 2007 and continues to glean from various art coaches on these topics while implementing these strategies and methods to grow her own art business. And now for the first time she’ll be sharing what she’s learned over the course of 15+ years with you!
